At Spokane’s Garland Theater last month, the Spokane Advertising Federation presented more than 100 awards to entrants around the region in honor of the best advertising work of 2012. Two of those awards, both silvers, went to helveticka for the 2012 annual reports it created for Revett Minerals and Hecla Mining Company. And one of them — Hecla’s AR — won silver at the District XI ADDY Awards Competition, which represents Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Open to any individual, company, or organization engaged in the creation of advertising, the Inland Northwest ADDY Awards Competition is the first level of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. At the discretion of the judges, gold and silver awards are given in 16 divisions, including radio, television, collateral material, and trade publications.
