An ad campaign’s effectiveness is the ultimate measure of its success. But when it gets noticed by “some of the most forward-thinking communications and marketing professionals in the world,” so much the better. At its annual Better Communications Competition, Utility Communicators International – a networking forum of utilities, advertising agencies, and related service organizations – awarded Avista’s “5 Easy Steps” print ad campaign second place in the Print Advertising / Marketing category. The BCC is one of the longest-running awards programs for excellence in utility communications. Other honorees include PG&E, PacifiCorp, and Georgia Power. Partnering with J. Craig Sweat Photography, helveticka provided creative direction, design, and writing services for the campaign.
