Tastes Like Victory

Greeley Water Education Campaign

According to a panel of independent judges at the 13th annual “Best of the Best” Tap Water Taste Test conducted by the American Water Works Association – the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world – the best-tasting water in North America is in Greeley, Colorado. It was the first time the city entered the competition. Now, we’re not about to suggest that our involvement in Greeley’s image campaign, the local school district, or, in fact, the very department responsible for winning the award has anything to do with it. But surely it can’t be a coincidence, right? To celebrate the win, Greeley officials bottled the very same award-winning tap water, named it “Greeley Gold,” then turned to helveticka for help designing a label. With a nod to the water’s source – pure Rocky Mountain snowfall – the label takes design cues from our work on the city’s multi-year public relations campaign promoting the expansion of Milton Seaman Reservoir. The 500 ml bottles will be available at promotional events only. But you can take our word for it – it’s every bit as delicious as they say it is.
