We’re looking for a graphic designer.

helveticka – a small, well-established, multi-disciplinary design studio located in a growing market in the Pacific Northwest – is looking for a graphic designer.

Perhaps that’s understating things a bit.

What we’re really looking for is someone who’s capable of developing beautiful, meaningful, and effective visual work. Someone who thrives within an ideas-driven, highly collaborative environment. Someone who’s comfortable running meetings for – and making presentations to – clients and vendors. Someone with an almost overwhelming desire for continuous improvement, yet who’s already so detail-oriented that they’ve likely earned a somewhat unflattering nickname.

requirements

  • a degree in graphic design or visual communication
  • a minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • an exceptional portfolio of work
  • excellent time-management and communication skills
  • an expert eye for design and visual storytelling
  • proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, et al.
  • familiarity with Microsoft 365: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, et al.
  • basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JS, et al.
  • experience in social media content development

  • work full-time in our Spokane office
  • coordinate with clients, vendors, freelancers, and helveticka team members
  • understand the implications – and value the importance – of every step of the process, from conceptual development all the way to final production
  • tackle everything from print to brand identity, from websites to digital advertising, from multimedia to marketing campaigns
