Kaemmer’s portait of Leonardo Da Vinci (1452–1519) is his favorite of the series, and was used to promote a Da Vinci show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Kaemmer doesn’t have many heroes, he admits – but Da Vinci is de nitely one of them.
