For NOVAGOLD’s 2015 annual report, helveticka further developed a concept that had worked well in previous reports for the Vancouver, BC-based precious metals company – a wide-ranging Q&A format – and applied it to all stakeholders. In other words, instead of relying solely on company management to answer shareholder questions, NOVAGOLD reached out to Alaska Native Corporations, local residents, business partners and collaborators, and financial analysts to weigh in on questions related to permitting and project milestones, as well as the potential of the company’s flagship project, Donlin Gold. In addition to making a solid case for investment in NOVAGOLD, the resulting 32-page report, titled “Perspectives,” paints a clearer picture of the benefits of collaboration and community outreach, revealing the company to be a long-term investor itself – in the lives and futures of the people of southwestern Alaska. helveticka provided conceptual development, design, copywriting and editing, and project management for the report.
