These photos by J. Craig Sweat Photography tell a powerful story of change in the Inland Northwest. What started with simple yard cleanup at an East Central Spokane church has grown into a full-fledged program to provide low-barrier jobs for people experiencing homelessness and instability. Today, Dignified Workday employs a crew of 45 workers – some featured in the photos above – to do construction and property maintenance for businesses and nonprofits in the Spokane region.
helveticka was proud to work with Dignified Workday and its program administrator, Career Path Services, to develop a brand identity system and website for the new organization. Branding work involved creation of a logo, tagline, and color palette, as well as secondary applications for added flexibility. The website was designed to connect with the organization’s three distinct audiences: program participants, worksite clients, and donors and volunteers. helveticka’s role included all writing, design, photo direction, and content management.
You can see the Dignified Workday logo here and its website here.
