As part of an ongoing partnership with Coeur d’Alene, Idaho’s Parks and Recreation Department, Avista Utilities is the title sponsor of the city’s McEuen Park Grand Pavilion – part of a $20 million park project that included a veterans memorial, boat launching and mooring facilities, and underground parking. Now named Avista Pavilion, the facility, located at the center of McEuen Park, is designed for public and private events and offers covered seating for up to 200 people. Working with local custom fabricator Hydrafab Northwest and Avista’s Scott Steele, helveticka designed the 27’ x 8’ powder-coated aluminum sign for the pavilion. Hydrafab then built and installed the sign, which, like the rest of the park, is illuminated from dusk to dawn with energy-efficient LED lights. In addition to design services, helveticka provided production and installation oversight.
