When CK and Linda Anderson launched Helveticahaus in February 2015, it was with a baker’s dozen T-shirts designed around the company’s namesake Swiss sans serif font. The goal? To spread the Gospel of Helvetica while funding scholarships for area design students. As people from California to Qatar began purchasing T-shirts, the product line grew to include letterpress-printed coasters and mini-posters. The latest addition? Haus Blend, a cup of coffee as smooth and balanced as the International Typographic Style. A partnership between the Hh team and Post Falls-based DOMA Coffee Roasting Company, Haus Blend features beans from Guatemala, Brazil, and Peru, offering up aromas of brown sugar and nut, flavors of dark chocolate, and hints of caramel and spice. The coffee, roasted to order, comes in 16-ounce hand-packed bags and is available at helvetichaus.com.
