When Coeur Mining decided to produce its first-ever sustainability report, the largest U.S.-based primary silver producer could have gone anywhere. But it chose a firm with deep experience in the mining sector: helveticka, who has worked with a number of companies on everything from print ads to annual reports to tradeshow booths. Focusing on a number of areas key to Coeur’s success – health and safety, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and assurance – the report, themed “CoreMatters,” makes a strong case for a balanced approach to mining. helveticka was responsible for theme development, design, writing and editing, and production for the interactive 44-page PDF. Two versions were produced: one in English, the other in Spanish. Both will be accessible via Coeur’s website.
