For a while now, helveticka has followed a similar approach to content distribution in Hecla’s annual reports: shareholder letter, financials, properties, pre-development and exploration, safety and health, and social responsibility – all tied to a theme. And it’s worked. The company’s 2013 report, however, follows a format that Hecla’s investor relations team developed for its presentations: a top-ten list of reasons to own Hecla stock. In part a response to sharp decreases in precious metals prices, the approach also serves to remind readers of the many characteristics that have enabled Hecla to continue to succeed over 122 years in business.
