For more than 35 years, Clarkston, Washington-based D&S Electrical Contractors has been quietly making a name for itself, tackling some of the highest-profile and most technically complex construction projects in the northwest. When the company felt it was time to refresh its logo to match the sophistication of its work, they called helveticka. Rather than a redesign of the existing triangle-shaped logo symbol, however, the solution chosen was a complete departure: new colors, new font, new symbol, all while retaining the old logo’s D and S – the owners’ initials – and the familiar lightning-bolt motif. In addition to the logo, helveticka created a capabilities brochure for the company. The tri-fold piece includes an introduction to D&S, client testimonials, and an overview of services.
