For the second consecutive year, helveticka was given the opportunity to create an annual report for NOVAGOLD, a precious metals company engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in North America. Working closely with the company’s corporate communications team, helveticka developed a look and feel based on recent photography shot on location at NOVAGOLD’s Donlin Gold (southwestern Alaska) and Galore Creek (northern British Columbia) project sites, as well as the communities surrounding both properties. The book relies solely on an in-depth Q&A with the company’s entire management team for its content, covering everything from the gold market to permitting processes to protecting subsistence resources. The result is an annual report that not only demonstrates NOVAGOLD’s commitment to bringing Donlin Gold to production, but also the importance – and strength – of its relationships with Alaska Natives and First Nations people.
