Greeley Continues to Shine

Back in 2013, helveticka worked with the city of Greeley, Colorado to create materials aimed at two things: addressing common misperceptions about the community, and communicating the many positives. The success of that campaign – “Greeley Unexpected” – led to a renewed effort in 2014, which includes an expanded series of 15-second television commercials, along with billboards, bus wraps, and Denver International Airport signage. This year’s work, it turns out, has done more than attract the attention of northern Colorado residents: Citing the campaign’s “personal stories,” judges at the 2014 Savvy Awards, an annual event sponsored by the Washington, D.C.-based City-County Communications & Marketing Association, awarded Greeley Unexpected the Silver Circle (second place) in the 81,000+ population category.
