The short—and, one would think, obvious—answer to this question is “Yes.” What’ll really be interesting is seeing what takes its place.
But…but…but… Facebook was supposed to be humanity’s collective lurch toward the noosphere. Certainly it’s only the primitive first step in our eventual evolution to a green, gun-free, hate-free, everybody-lovin’, singular consciousness. Whatever takes its place will just need the right preemptive censorship by people much smarter than the rest of us. Dr. Alan Gribben, perhaps?
